Assault series comes with a pretty interesting roster which is made up of single-cut, LP-like guitars. The lineup is oriented towards the rockers and metalheads looking for an affordable Les Paul guitar who have a tight budget.
Assault 220 Plus EMG speaks directly to the players who`d love to have an LP guitar but would also like to have a Floyd Rose bridge (there is also a tune-o-matic version, also black). The body of this awesome six-string is made entirely of mahogany (it is a well-known fact that active EMGs and mahogany create the iconic EMG growl). Mahogany neck is set in and topped with a 24-fret fingerboard.
EMG`s 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck form the ubiquitous pickups combo. Floyd Rose bridge (or a tune-o-matic) and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
