There are many guitars out there based on the classic LP concept, but only a handful of them come with the long 25-1/2" scale (short 24-3/4" scale still dominates the LP world), but Assault 220 Plus is one of the renegades.
Assault 220 Plus comes with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany and a glued in neck made of the same material. Fluorescent Green and Candy Tangerine are available body colors (headstocks match bodies), both of them featuring chrome hardware and gloss finish. Glued in mahogany neck rocks a 22-fret maple fingerboard on the top.
Pair of Seymour Duncan pickups (Alternative 8 in the bridge and 59 Classic in the neck) with white rims and coils features a simple controls unit. String-through tune-o-matic bridge and locking tuners complete the specs list.
