KM8 is a part of Kiesel`s 70th Anniversary limited series. It is one of two eight-stringed models, the one with the compound scale. In KM8`s case, it measures 26" on the highest string to 27-1/2" on the lowest. The starting price is set at $3,049 (the only K model with the starting point above the $3,000 mark). KM8 comes in with several constant, fixed appointments, giving each player a great deal of autonomy and customization options. Double-cut Soloist body, through-body neck, Kiesel electronics (Lithium humbuckers + killswitch/volume knob + 5-position blade pickup switch), 24-fret fingerboard, Hipshot bridge and Kiesel tuners. Body, neck and fingerboard tonewoods selection depends solely on each player`s preferences and tastes. A multitude of inlay, hardware finish and color finish options is also available.
