Currently, eight strings is as far as Kiesel`s regular catalog goes and every major series features both regular and compound-scaled models. DC800 is a regular-scaled one, sporting a baritone-length 27" scale. Other than that, it is a pretty standard DC axe. Minimum price is set at pretty affordable (for a Kiesel guitar) $1,149.00. DC800`s base is made of alder wings, 5-piece maple neck running through the middle and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top of the neck. Chrome-plated hardware, Lithium pickups and Hipshot bridges are also among the standard options. Kiesel, however, offers each player a huge range of tonewoods and tonewood combinations, as well as color & finish options. Also, numerous inlay designs and several hardware finish options are available. Kiesel`s locking tuners are installed on every DC800 headstock.
