i actually own the jt-50 custom i dont know what kind of pickups they are but they are excellent. the neck pickup has a very versatile warm sound while the bridge pickup sounds good clean or with a lot of distortion (i prefer a lot of distortion). the wiring is well done no random noises yet and ive had the guitar for a few years. most everything else u can find out by looking at it out of the box it sounded great did over time have to adjust a few things and the output jack has given me some problems but nothing out of the ordinary. the finish was and is still beautiful (i have the purple burst finish) it does chip pretty easily though (but i wasnt super careful with it). i have giged with this guitar many times and it has never failed me. i paid $165 for my JT-50 and i like it better than my $400 epiphone and my $325 ibanez. if my JT was stolen i would definitely buy a new one sadly they dont make it in my finish anymore. the guitar is very good for the price and definitely served its purpose well but it cannot stand up to high level guitars with expensive pickups. my soap bar humbucker combo on my jazzmaster and dimebucker wielding iceman put out much better tones than my JT but i did have to get new pickups to accomplish that
