Jay Turser is one of very few manufacturers of solid-bodied guitars with maple, instead of mahogany, as their favorite tonewood for single-wood guitars. JT-230M from the Modern series is equipped with such construction features. Body of this modern six-stringer is solid, double-cut and flat on top. It is made of maple and it features the set in neck joint. Maple body on this model has contoured edges and modern soloist/RG design. This marvelous six-stringer comes with a standard one-piece bridge unit, made up of a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. Jay Turser`s humbuckers are installed in the front of the bridge. neck is made of maple and it is topped with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of maple.
