Soloist is Jackson`s main model platform and the brand`s first claim to fame back in the 80`s. Since then, King V, RR, Kelly and many others have joined in to form the family of models now known as the best metal guitar catalog in the world. Throughout the years, Soloist models have shined among hundreds of imitators, copycats and rip-offs, as an epitome of a classic double-cut metal guitar. All of the current tiers of Jackson catalog feature Soloist models, from the entry level JS to the flagship USA Select range. X Series Soloist SLX Left Hand is a new model for 2016. It will join the lower intermediate X range. This new six-string Soloist is of sinister orientation and particularly dark disposition (Satin Black paint job, rosewood fingerboard, black hardware). Basswood wings and maple neck in the middle comprise the body of this shred machine. Fast and smooth neck is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard (1-11/16" nut, Sharkfin inlays, compound 12"-16" radius). Duncan Designed HB-103B (bridge) and HB-103N (neck) humbuckers offer a strong, high-output tone best suited for traditional metal styles. One volume, one tone and a three-position switch complete the controls unit. Licensed Floyd Rose bridge and Jackson`s die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
