Jackson`s X series is one of the most important and most popular segments of the electric guitar catalog. It offers affordable guitars made with superior craftsmanship, high quality hardware and carefully chosen electronics. X series models do not feature luxurious appointments and excessive decorations, instead focusing on the delivery of the famous Jackson playability and ubiquitous tone. For 2015, Jackson has overhauled the X segment with a bunch of new and exciting guitars, and SLXFMG Soloist is one of the brightest examples. It comes with a solid, contoured and double-cut body made of basswood wings with maple neck in the middle. All three color options (Transparent Red, Transparent Blue and Transparent Black) are fit with high grade flamed maple tops (these are two-piece tops made of matched pieces of wood). Floyd Rose Special bridge on the top is in charge of the tuning and intonation stability of this handsome six-string, while the EMG`s 81 and 85 provide that classic heavy metal roar which so many metalheads around the world crave. Master volume, master tone and the three-position blade switch keep things neat and simple in the controls department. Through-body maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with shark fin inlays and a locking string nut.
