SLATTXMGQ 3-6 Soloist is one of many Soloist models introduced into the 2015 X series lineup. In fact, Jackson has introduced only a few Soloists outside of the X range, opting to solidify the cult double-cut in the lower regions of the market. Thus, the flood of affordable and good-looking Soloists in 2015. SLATTXMGQ 3-6 Soloist comes with some pretty standard X range appointments, such as basswood/maple tonewoods combo, neck-through-body construction and Jackson hardware (tuners). Body of this budget-friendly Soloist is solid, contoured and made of basswood wings with maple neck in the center. Like the rest of its 2015 X series brethren, this six-string double-cut rocks the most stable type of construction. Transparent finishes (Transparent Purple is one of them) also have quilt maple tops (however, without binding around the edges). Lone TonePros tune-o-matic bridge sits in the bridge segment. In its front, EMG`s 81 and 85 occupy the bridge and neck pickup positions, respectively. Along with them, a small and ergonomic controls unit is featured (one volume knob, one tone knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch). Fast and slim maple neck (classic Jackson speed neck profile) is topped with a mandatory rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, piranha inlays and compound 12"-16" radius. Jackson`s die-cast tuners complete this outstanding Soloist six-stringer.
