SLATFXQMG 3-8 Soloist comes in with the first major wave of Jackson eight-strings. It offers the renown X level build quality, Jackson hardware and EMG electronics. To spice things up, Jackson throws in a quilt maple top. Body of this outstanding eight-string is made of mahogany base with a said quilt maple cover on top. Three-piece maple neck runs through the body. It has a surprisingly slim profile, given that it`s a neck for an eight-string guitar. Transparent Green with gloss finish and black hardware is the only color option available. Extended range EMG 808 humbuckers wreak absolute havoc upon every strum of the pick, taking no prisoners and leaving nothing behind. Master volume, master tone and a three position switch comprise the controls. The MSRP for SLATFXQMG 3-8 is set at $999.99.
