RR24 Rhoads is a special model made for players who want to set their focus only on fingerboard, who find the pickup switching and tone adjusting unnecessary for their style. Being a model from the MG series, this six-string Rhoads is equipped with an EMG 81 humbucker in the bridge position. There is no neck pickup. The space is taken by the extra two frets. Only the master volume knob is installed in the controls section. Body of this Rhoads is solid, flat on top and made of alder. Wings of the body are made of alder, while the middle section is a part of the neck and is made of maple. Body features beveled edges and glossy finish. Ebony fingerboard has jumbo-sized frets with shark fin inlays.
