OC1 is one of six Surfcaster models featured in the Surfcaster series. With this series, Jackson aims at players who like the vintage looks of the 1950s and 1960s Fender models, but want a little bit spiced up tone. This particular Surfcaster comes with a solid, flat-top body with bolt-on neck joint. Basswood is used for the body, while the neck is made of maple. Gun Metal Gray is the only option in the color palette of this vintage six-stringer. It is matched with chrome-plated hardware. Bridge section features the wrap-around bridge. Pickups combo is made up of a Chandler LST humbucker with open-coil design and Jackson JA214 lipstick single-coil pickup. Bolted maple neck has standard contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
