Kelly is, as we all know, Jackson`s take on the classic Explorer. It all began in 1982, and over three decades later Kelly is one of the main pillars of the Jackson catalog. KEXTMG Kelly is an affordable X series Kelly loaded with some of the most popular features among young metal musicians.
For starters, KEXTMG comes with the most used and most played pair of active metal pickups - EMG`s 81 and 85 (81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck position). Master volume, master tone and a three-position switch are found in the controls department. Tune-o-matic bridge is installed behind the pickups.
Beveled Kelly body of this KEXTMG is made entirely of basswood, while the bolt-on neck is made of three pieces of maple. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and die-cast Jackson tuners complete the specs list of this metal monster.
