Kelly design is Jackson`s variation on an age old theme, the Explorer shape. Besides the Gibson original, Jackson`s Kelly is probably the most successful model with Explorer contours. Kelly became huge back in the 1980s when some of the most influential shredders switched from Soloists to Kelly guitars. This current JS32 Kellyw/FR is a lean and mean metal machine. It comes with a solid alder body. it`s flat on top and contoured in the back. Snow White, Black and Gunmetal Grey comprise the color palette for this Kelly. Floyd Rose bridge is installed on the top. In it`s front, Jackson`s CVR humbuckers are featured. Neck is made of maple and it`s bolted to the body. On it`s top, Jackson installs a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
