JS11 Dinky is the most basic Dinky model in the 2015 catalog. It is equipped with just the basic features and appointments, and represents what a true beginner guitar should be. A simple, affordable and reliable instrument. 2015 version of this affordable rocker is available in four color options: Gloss Black, Gloss White, Metallic Blue and Metallic Red. All four feature gloss finish, but the hardware comes in two variants - blue and red options have black hardware, while the other two come with chrome-plated hardware. Solid and flat body of the basic JS11 is made of basswood in its entirety. As it is standard for both the Dinky line and JS range, it features a bolt-on neck joint. Standard Jackson tremolo bridge comes with six adjustable saddles and string-through construction. Together with die-cast (also Jackson) tuners, it does more than a decent job at keeping the JS11 in tune through prolonged playing sessions. Electronics department of this affordable six-string is lead by a pair of Jackson High Output humbuckers with ceramic magnets. Their controls unit is made up of a master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch. The bolted maple neck features the Speed profile seen on the upscale Jacksons in the back, and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Jumbo-sized bridge, dot inlays and the standard 1-11/16" wide string nut complete the fingerboard. Tone and playability this rocker delivers in the under $200 class is just mind-bending.
