Chris Broderick signature line from Jackson Guitars was launched at NAMM 2013 in Anaheim, Ca. Currently, it features two models, one six and one seven-stringer. Both are based on Jackson`s famous Soloist contour, but feature more modern, offset designed bodies. Chris Broderick Soloist 6 is a solid-bodied guitar with double cutaway and carved top. It is made of of mahogany back and quilted maple top. This combination of woods is pretty popular with solid-bodied electric guitars and is frequently used for metal-oriented guitars, for it gives a strong low end. Body is bound in natural binding and finished in high gloss. Black Transparent Black, White and Transparent Red are the options player can chose from. Bridge section is a standard one for this series, it features an original Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge. It is supported by a locking string nut located on the fingerboard. Pickups are custom DiMarzio humbuckers designed by Chris. Master volume, master tone and a killswitch complete the controls unit. Pickup selector is a three-way toggle. Quartersawn maple neck is featured on this model and it`s topped with a standard 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Planet Waves tuners are installed on the headstock and the scale measures traditional 25-1/2".
