Modena Sitar is one of the most peculiar guitars Italia has ever made. It is a combination of a regular six-string guitar and a twelve-stringed sitar. Hollow body, 18 strings (6+12 arrangement), three pickups and a special Gotoh bridge characterize this guitar oddity. Red Cracking and White Cracking color options are available and the retail price is $959.99.
Modena Sitar kicks off with a completely hollow body and a bolt-on hard rock maple neck. The neck features standard Modena profile in the back and a 21-fret fingerboard on top. Three Lipstick single-coil pickups (standard bridge & neck + sitar pickup) come with individual volume and tone knobs. Gotoh`s Buzz Sitar bridge and eighteen die-cast tuning machines complete the specs list of Modena Sitar.
