Rimini is not only a beautiful city on the Italian coast of the Adriatic Sea, it is also a name of the series of gorgeous vintage-styled guitars made by Italia Guitars. This series is dedicated to the production of beautiful double-cut guitars with semi-hollow bodies, set in necks and vintage styling. One of three currently active models in Rimini line is the Rimini 12 model. It comes with a flat-top body made of agathis wood. On top, there is a vintage "f" hole on the bass side of the bridge and a small oval pickguard. Series standard two-piece bridge is installed on the top and it is fronted by a set of two active humbuckers. Set in maple neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with my Rimini 12. I get all the sounds I could possibly want (yes those sounds) at a fraction of the price, and while the materials used in the construction might not be hand crafted by Cloistered Monks or Ancient Aliens, the bottom line is that the fit and finish is excellent. Nothing cheap about the build or the performance. Quality components put together in a quality manner. I have owned Rickenbackers, American Fenders, Gibsons and Pro-line Gretschs. It is no longer necessary to spend $1500.00 and up to get a professional quality instrument. A number of companies are putting together great guitars without the high priced logos.
