SAS36BG is a model from the SAS series in Ibanez catalog. SAS series is a part of a much larger S segment. Just like SA, it features regular trem bridges, instead of locking ones. Body of this solid, double cut guitar is made of mahogany back and bubinga top. Back is contoured for comfort and the top is carved with abalone binding around the edges. There`s only Transparent Red color scheme with high gloss finish. This model doesn`t have a pickguard. Bridge section is equipped with aforementioned non-locking trem, much like the Fender`s hardtail. Pickups in it`s front are installed in H/S/S pattern. Neck is made of three pieces of maple and it is set in. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
