Vintage Violin
SA2020FM belongs to the high esteemed series named SA, which is made by Japan`s Ibanez Guitars. it is a part of the vintage-oriented series and it features a solid, double cut body made of mahogany back with flame maple top. Gorgeous Vintage Violin is the only color scheme available for this model and it is finished in high gloss. Top is carved and bound in white binding. There`s no pickguard on this one. Bridge section is equipped with series standard non-locking trem bridge with string-through construction. Pickups are made by Seymour Duncan and are installed by Ibanez in H/H pattern. Controls unit is a standard one with master volume, master tone and a blade switch. Five-piece maple/walnut neck is equipped with SA contour and set-in joint. It`s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.

i bought this guitar from a friend that have it stored for a long time, and after i cleaned it, this guitar start to come to life, the finish is absolutely amazing, i think is nitro, and the woods are excellent, the pickups are really great, the split coil system works very well, is a strat like sound, but with the caracter of the mahogany and the maple, very good for clean work and crunshy sounds, the tone control is also great and the volume pot work smoth, also de electronic cavity is shielded a think that almost every guitar in the world would have, this make a no-noisse guitar excellent think when you turn up the gain. One mistake in the description is that the guitar comes with gotoh tuners, that works excellent, i think better than any tuner i ever tried in other guitars including locking tuners, the frets are really good and the neck is one of the best i ever tried, is just in the perfect shape, is really comfortable maybe the most comfortable i tried. Now talking about the sound, this guitar sound like a gibson sg standard, really really close to that guitar, but with a more open sound, but still really close. the trem is really good but just try to not lose anything because finding an ibanez replacement is almost impossible. In the past i owned various guitars, but i think this is the one that when you have it in your hands you dont wanna put it down, the finish and every detail is almost a master piece, everything on the guitar is excellent from the finish to the fret work, everything is in the way it is supossed to be, not a think that you have yo worry in the future when it was new, this guitar sells in 1000usd, it comes with a prestige hardshell in most cases, and d'addario strings. i think this guitar is really a gift for that price, you never get a guitar of this quality from that price. i love it, really
