RG927WZCZ is one of several new models in the RG range. It is being introduced at the 2015 NAMM show, a place where every significant manufacturer will unveil their respective catalogs. RG927SZCZ is a premium class model (only the prestige and up-scale parts of the signature series are located above this model), ranking above the RG Standard line. Solid and double-cut RG body of this model is made of the standard basswood with an exotic ziricote top. Creme binding is featured around the satin finished top (rest of the body, as well as the back of the neck, is finished in satin). In order to showcase the beauty of the ziricote in it`s full glory, Ibanez has opted to limit the color palette to Natural Flat (NTF). Cosmo Black hardware blends very well with the color theme. DiMarzio`s IBZ 7 humbuckers are featured in the bridge and neck positions of the pickup department, providing a high quality tone with truck loads of sustain and sheer power. Basic RG controls are featured with them. Locking Edge tremolo system is featured behind them. Wenge/bubinga neck is made out of five pieces of wood and has Wizard 7 profile. On it`s top, there is a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot inlays.
