Ibanez`s j. Custom series is located one step above the Prestige range and offers the semi-boutique models. All of its models are hand-made in Japan and then shipped around the globe. Currently, there are only two active models, this one and a six-stringed RGA. RG8527Z comes in with a modern RG body, bolted neck, standard 25-1/2" scale, passive electronics, combined Ibanez/Gotoh hardware, and suave styling. Sodalite is the name of the only available color option. Tree of life inlays made of abalone, Cosmo Black hardware, and flame maple binding complete the look. Other notable features found on this exclusive RG include African mahogany body back, AAA flame maple top, maple/wenge 7-piece neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, Edge tremolo bridge, DiMarzio PAF 7 pickups, and Gotoh tuners.
