ORM1 is a signature model made by Ibanez for Omar Rodriguez Lopez. It is a double-cut guitar reminiscent of Jaguar and Jazzmaster models made by Fender. It`s body is solid, flat on top and made of mahogany in it`s entirety. Body of this model is available in White and it`s finished in high gloss. Ibanez does not install a top wood cover on this six-stringer. Two-piece pickguard is made of two parts. Bridge section has a tune-o-matic bridge, after which strings go through the body. There`s only one rail humbucker installed in the bridge position. It`s controlled by a volume knob. Neck is made of three pieces of mahogany and it`s bolted to the body. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.

Extremely lightweight, great bridge, highly resonant. Much better then most guitars in this price range. Over all, worth the price. If you can find it used for $400 or under with the case, even better. You've got one pickup and volume on a guitar that is a pleasure to hold. It is meant to be plugged into a couple of peddles and/or a good modeling amp and played loud and fast. I have this paired with a Fender Mustang III and it sounds phenomenal.
