MTM1 is a signature model made By Ibanez for Slipknot`s Mick Thompson. It is one of four signatures with Mick`s name in the series. This one is a solid double-cut guitar with body made of mahogany. RG body of this model is flat, lacks binding and pickguard. Blood Red color scheme with high gloss finish is the only one in the palette. Bridge section is a very interesting one, as it features the Edge III double-locking bridge, but in fixed variant. Pickups are active, mady by Seymour Duncan and installed in H/H configuration. Super strong and controlled with master volume knob and three-position blade switch. Neck is made of five pieces of maple and walnut and it`s topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Fingerboard is equipped with custom "Seven" inlays.

its a standard 24 fret, 2 EMG 81 in there, and 10 guage strings on it. i cannot describe the playability of this guitar, i can do great sweeping arpeggios with it, along with great sound, its durable and har like a nail. its a valuable buy for any rookie to pro, im intermediate and its done the job im happy with it, but the best part is the word seven on the inlays.
