MBM1 is a solid-bodied electric model made for Matt Bachand of Shadows Fall. Matt`s model is solid, double-cut guitar made of mahogany. Body is carved on the top, as well as on the back. Back side contour is made for improved comfort. There`s no top wood, or pickguard, though Ibanez binds this one in creme binding. Bridge is a hardtail with string-through construction and black plating. In it`s front the pickups are active, installed in H/H pattern and made by EMG. Master volume and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Black base with gloss finish and a white skull graphic behind the bridge are combined for this model`s only color scheme. Five-piece maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
