John Scofield, a living legend of the fusion jazz scene is a long-time Ibanez signature artist. Their long-time relationship is once again being enriched and renewed with another John Scofield signature model. Once again, JSM series is being reinforced with a double-cut guitar with fully hollow construction and vintage design reminiscent of the legendary jazz boxes of the past. JSM10 is a professional level guitar with a body made entirely of flame maple. Back, sides and the carve top are made of it, while the elegant sapele is used for the neck. Top is embellished with a gorgeous multi-ply binding and a pair of sophisticated "f" holes. Also, a bound pickguard is featured on this mind-blowing jazz axe. Modern bridge unit pairs the six-saddled ART-1 bridge with the Quick Change III tailpiece. Pickups installe in the front are passive Ibanez Super 58 humbuckers with split volume and tone knobs, three-way toggle pickup switch and a Tri-Sound switch which selects the coils and polarity within the neck pickup. Sapele neck has a standard JSM profile in the back and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on the top. Gold-plated tuners, 12" radius and 24-3/4" scale wrap up the core specs list.
