Ibanez and Joe Satriani have been surfing across the six-string galaxy together for full twenty five years now, and what better way to celebrate such a huge milestone than to have a series of exclusive one-off guitars. Joe and Ibanez have done just that. A set of twenty five guitars, all custom painted by Satch will hit the stores this summer. Each guitar has its own, unique paint job laid out over the classic glossy black base. On the technical side, this is a regular JS24 guitar with a set of Joe`s signature DiMarzio pickups installed in the bridge and neck positions. Classic Mo` Joe passive/ceramic humbucker is in the bridge, while the neck position features the stacked Satch Track hot rails humbucker (also passive/ceramic). Along with a master volume (Hi-Pass Filter on the push/pull switch) and master tone (coil-splitting push/pull switch on this one), they give the that classic Satch tone legions of players around the world want and crave. Specs list continues with a classic JS-shaped alder body with a carved top and super deep cutaway. One-piece maple neck attached to it rocks the fast and slim JS contour in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Ibanez Edge bridge, locking string nut and die-cast tuners are also there for the ultimate Joe Satriani experience.
