GART series is a line of single cut guitars situated within the GIO segment of Ibanez catalog. It`s models are affordable variants of Artist series models. GART60 is one of the very basic models in the line and it features a pair of open coil humbuckers with a standard controls unit. Bridge section is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar in the back. They`re plated in chrome. Three color schemes are available for this model and they are all finished in satin. Body of this model is solid, single-cut and made of basswood. It`s carved and has no decorations. Neck on this model is made of a single piece of maple and it features a bolt-on joint. It`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

i own the sunburst,but i guess most of the features are similar . . . . an awesome guitar to play with,the fretboard is smooth as silk . . . with an amazing sound.i would like to know more about this guitar from other users too. . . . please do let me know

it is my first guitar. i have it for almost 2 years now. it is a good guitar to start learning with althought i had its pickups replaced for Seymour Duncan 59 and JB because the originals were a bit too 'dirty' with distortion.
