Daron Malakian of the iconic alternative metal band System of a Down is a long-time an Ibanez fan and also their signature artist. His series currently has only one model, the DMM1. It is a solid-bodied guitar with Iceman contour. It is made of mahogany, it`s flat on the top and has no binding. Color scheme is combined of white base and custom graphic. Body is finished in gloss. Bridge section is a two-piece. Tune-o-matic bridge is in the front and the strings run through the body behind it. Around the holes Ibanez installs a metal plate. Pickups are passive humbuckers with separate volume and tone knobs. Three-piece maple neck is set and topped with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
