BWM1 is the first Bob Weir signature model made by Ibanez guitars. It features the standard 25-1/2" scale, Neck-through-body construction, lavish decorations all over the body, neck and headstock, as well as gold-plated hardware. Brown Sunburst is the only available color option thus far. BWM1 offers a carved-top body with double cutaway and rounded lower bout. Wings of the body are made of ash; they`re glued onto the 5-piece neck made of maple and walnut. The neck features a custom BWM profile in the back and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Two DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary humbuckers and Area 61 single coil in the middle come with one of the most elaborate control sets (controls are divided into three segments - upper cutaway, bass side of the bridge and back plate). Accu-Cast Replica string-through bridge and vintage tuners complete the specs list.
