Vintage Yellow Sunburst
AKJ85 is a new hollow-bodied model from Ibanez and it will be represented at NAMM 2012 Show in Anaheim, Ca. Ibanez has a wide range of high quality hollow-bodies in it`s catalog ranging from entry level models to high price luxury instruments. AKJ85 is in the lower portion of that scale with it`s hollow single cutaway body made entirely of flamed maple. Carved top, white binding, bound"f" holes and a black pickguard look really smooth dressed up in the vintage sunburst gloss finish. The bridge n this model is an ART-W with a trapezoid tailpiece. The pickup combo is made up of two humbuckers placed in the bridge and neck positions. They are controlled through split volume and tone knobs with a three-way toggle switch. The neck is made of three pieces of maple and mahogany with Artcore contour and set-in joint. The fingerboard is equipped with 22 frets and block inlays. The MSRP is set at $691.
