AFC151 belongs to the modern Contemporary Archtop series, which is a part of Ibanez Hollow Body range. Contemporary Archtop was created with today`s players` needs and preferences in mind, while remaining within the boundaries of a jazz box archtop.
AFC151 is the intermediate of three models which make up the initial Contemporary Archtop lineup. Like the other two, 151 was introduced at 2017 NAMM. It starts off with a fully hollow, single-cut body made of maple (back & sides) and spruce (carved and bound top). Three-piece mahogany/maple neck (with AFC profile) and 20-fret ebony fingerboard (with offset inlays, medium-sized frets and 1.69" nut) complete the chassis.
AFC125 also features an ebony bridge (with VT14 tailpiece), Magic Touch minibucker pickups and modern black/gold-plated tuners.
