Ibanez is one of the most successful guitar brands out there. One of key components of their success is an unbelievable scope of types of instruments they cover. Solid electrics, semi-hollow ones, as well as fully hollow axes. Solid basses, hollow basses, classical acoustics, steel-stringed acoustics and recently a range of folk instruments was introduced. One of the most prominent segments is the hollow-body electric guitar segment with it`s remarkable AF series. For the fall 2013, AF series is updated with a gorgeous AF255BM in Blue Lagoon color. It features arched top and back, elegant creme binding and gold-plated hardware. Two-piece bridge section on the top is fronted with a pair of active 58 humbuckers with separate volume and tone controls. Pickups selection is done through the standard three-way toggle switch. 3-piece maple and mahogany neck is set in and has the standard 20-fret ebony fingerboard on it`s top.
