Super Eagle is one of several Eagle models featured in Heritage Guitars` Hollow Body - Custom Carved series. It is a luxurious jazz box, with classic design (reminiscent of the early Gibson Electric Spanish models), vintage/modern tone and 25-1/2" scale (a quite unusual feature for Gibson-styled hollow-bodies). Super Eagle sports a large body (18" width, 20-7/8" length and 3" thickness), thus the "Super" in its name. Back and sides are made of curly maple (all solid), while the top is made of spruce (also solid). Set-in neck is made of five pieces of curly maple and has a 20-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Two Seymour Duncan humbuckers deliver a versatile, well balanced tone. Other major features include Grover`s Imperial tuners, two-piece top-load bridge and black plastic parts.
