Sunburst series is a part of the XT section of the Hamer Guitars catalog. It features a set of double-cut guitars with solid bodies and carved tops, based on the models from the USA Studio series. These Studio models cover the luxury segment of the market, while the Sunbursts are oriented towards the players who are ready to sacrifice some luxury, but not a good tone. Body of the Sunburst Quilt 2 is solid, double-cut and carved on the top. It is made of mahogany back and quilted maple top. Bridge section on this model is a standard one, as it features the tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar in the back. EMG H4 humbuckers are installed in the front. Mahogany neck is set in and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
