Sunburst series in the XT segment is based on the Studio models from the USA segment of the Hamer catalog. This outstanding series is trying to merge upscale quality of tone and construction with budget-friendly price tags. Judging by the tone and looks of these guitars, it seems that Hamer has done one hell of a job. One of the models in the currently active lineup of the series is the Sunburst Archtop Flametop model. It comes with a mahogany-made body with a flamed maple top. Top is carved and bound in elegant binding. Tune-o-matic bridge on the top is backed up by a stoptail bar. Active Hamer humbuckers are installed in the front. Mahogany neck is topped with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
