Hamer`s Newport BE is a model from the Newport series of supremely elegant and luxurious Newport double-cuts. These six and twelve-string axes come with top shelf materials and premium hardware appointments. Renowned Hamer build quality, superb playability and distinct tone make Newport series a strong contender on the ES section of the market. Instead of series standard mahogany and spruce, this Newport is made entirely of maple. This adds a nice twist to the elegant and smooth tone Newports are known for. On top of the carved sound board Hamer installs a two-piece bridge section. Seymour Duncan`s active Seth Lover humbuckers blend really well with maple body and feature the series standard controls unit. Mahogany neck has a standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
