Hamer kicked off back in the 1970s and it was considered the first boutique custom shop brand dedicated to professional musicians. Their first lineup was made up of predominantly Explorer and Flying V-like creations. In recent years, Hamer`s catalog has diversified and now also contains the XT line of affordable instruments. Monaco is the series of semi-hollow single-cuts with premium features. Monaco III is a Les Paul-like semi-hollow and it features the mahogany back with spruce top. Carved top is bound and decorated with two "f" holes. Tune-o-matic bridge on this model is backed up by a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece and fronted by a set of three P-90 pickups. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
