Improv is a fully hollow guitar with a very comfortable and medium-sized body. It is a jazz guitar with huge tone and compact dimensions. Jazz guitars of the past were usually very big and chunky and somewhat uncomfortable. Hamer Guitars are trying to bridge this problem with the Improv model, which is closer to solid-bodied electrics when it comes to the body size. This is a beautiful and luxurious double-cut made of mahogany back and spruce top. Top is carved, bound in multi-ply binding and equipped with an elevated pickguard. Vintage-styled bridge is made of ebony and it is fronted with an active minibucker pickup installed in the neck position. Volume and tone knobs are installed on the pickguard. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it features the standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
