Newark St Collection is a brand new installment in the Guild Guitars catalog. It is made up of hollow and semi hollow bodied guitars and basses. There`s a total of eight models, with ratio being seven to one for the six-stringers. Starfire is the only bass. M-75 Aristocrat is one of the seven six-stringers and it`s construction and tone justify it`s aristocratic name. Classic single-cut body reminds of Les Paul, but at the same time has Guild`s unique aura. It is a semi-hollow bodied guitar made of solid mahogany back, laminated mahogany sides and laminated spruce sound board on top. Top is arched and bound in standard white binding. There are no "f" holes, despite the fully hollow construction. Antique Burst with gloss finish is the only color scheme for this model. Bridge section is made up of tune-o-matic bridge in the front and very elegant trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Guild® "Frequency Tested" Single-Coil pickups are featured in both the bridge and neck positions. Neck is made of mahogany and maple and it features U contour in the back. Rosewood fingerboard has 22 6105-sized frets, block inlays and 1.65" bone nut. Grover tuners and 24-1/2" scale are also featured on this model.
