G6118 is one of exclusive Anniversary models made by Gretsch. It belongs to the upscale Professional Collection series. This one is single-cut, fully hollow and has set in neck joint. Body of this hollow-bodied six-stringer is made entirely of maple. Solid maple is used for the construction of this model. To panel is bound in several layers of binding and finished in gloss. Elevated pickhguard is also featured on the top. This one is available in intricate Smoke Green color scheme with nickel hardware as a contrast. Bridge section is a simple two-piece, consisting of an adjust-o-matic bridge and trapezoid tailpiece. Filtertron humbuckers are installed in both the bridge and neck positions. Set in maple neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
