G5434T-LTD Electromatic® Pro Jet™ Limited Edition is a special guitar based on the standard G5434 Pro Jet axe. Available in limited quantities and loaded with premium features, G5434T-LTD is one sweet little heart breaker. The body of this White Penguin is chambered, single-cut and beautifully arched on the top. Entire body is made of basswood, as opposed to the original G5434 which comes with a mahogany/maple body. Basswood gives a bit less warmth, but makes it up with power and fantastic dynamic response. Chambered construction adds that classic Gretsch chime to the tone. White is the only available color option. It comes with a gold-plated pickguard, gold-plated hardware and pearloid inlays. Neck on this limited edition six-shooter is the standard one found on a vast majority of Pro Jet axes. It is made of maple and features a set-in joint. On its top, Gretsch installs a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Its 12" radius and 1-11/16" synthetic bone nut give a pretty Gibson-like feel and playability. Deep cutaway and comfortable back profile make it super easy to reach the upper frets. Upper frets may prove to be too cramped for players with big hands, for this limited edition six-string rocks the series-standard 24-1/2" scale (as a rule, all Jets are short-scaled). Blacktop FilterTron humbuckers are the standard issue guns in Jet ranks and they reprise their role on this limited edition single-cut. But, this time, they`re pimped out with gold-plated covers and rings. Combined with the lightweight and chambered basswood body, These bad boys cover everything from the classic fifties Gretsch tone to modern hard rock. Separate volume knobs, master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls. Gold-plated adjust-o-matic bridge with a Bigsby vibrato bar in the back and a set of vintage-styled die-cast tuning machines complete the hardware & electronics segment. G5434T-LTD Electromatic® Pro Jet™ Limited Edition`s price tag is set at pretty affordable $849 which currently makes it one of the most accessible limited edition six-strings on the market.
