G5135CVT-PS Patrick Stump Signature Series STUMP-O-MATIC Electromatic® CVT is the first signature Gretsch model with Patrick`s name. Mastermind behind the rock sensation Fall Out Boy and a very successful solo artist, music critic, record producer and actor, Patrick Stump is more than a rock star. Also, Patrick has a great and versatile voice. This applies to his axe grinding abilities, as he is one of the most versatile guitarists of contemporary American rock music. A true professional and a man who appreciates quality, Patrick was naturally drawn to Gretsch guitars and for the fall 2013, Gretsch unveils the G5135CVT-PS Patrick Stump Signature Series STUMP-O-MATIC Electromatic® CVT, which continues already successful series with Patrick`s name on it. G5135CVT-PS is a solid and double-cut guitar with flat-top design, set in neck and vintage styling. It is available in white with gray stripes and white pickguard. Both the body and neck are finished in urethane gloss and feature the chrome-plated hardware. Pinned adjust-o-matic bridge is mounted on the top with strings running through the body behind it. In the front, Gretsch installs a set of three Mega`Tron humbuckers. Volume and tone knobs are accompanied by a two-position mini switch which toggles the middle pickup on or off. Also, there`s the standard three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck on this amazing six-string axe is made of maple and it features a custom contour in the back. It`s attached to the body with a set in joint and is topped with a 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Fingerboard`s equipped with 21 frets, dot inlays (only up to 15th fret) and 1.6875" wide synthetic bone string nut. Vintage-styled tuners on the headstock are installed in the classic 3+3 pattern.
