Following the iconic Les Paul design and adding their own touch, Gretsch Guitars have created Jet models. This solid and semi-hollow models come with both single and double-cut design solutions. This particular model is named Double jet, for it features a semi-hollow body with double cutaway. Cutaway runs deep, thus enabling easier access to upper frets and is almost symmetrical. Body of this six-string axe is made of mahogany back with laminated maple top. Silver and Gold colors are avaiable with sparkle finish and chrome plated hardware on them both. Adjust-o-matic bridge is backed up by a Bigsby vibrato system and fronted by a pair of Gretsch minibuckers. Neck is set in and also made of mahogany. On it`s top, there`s a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with white binding and thumbnail inlays.
