Passion RG-2 comes with a chambered and double-cut body made of spruce base and flamed maple top. This combo is pretty unusual for this type of instrument as spruce is mainly viewed as a sound board wood for flat-top acoustics. Hard rock maple neck is attached through a standard bolt-on joint with a contoured heel (a feature designed to ease the access to the upper frets), and has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Natural HG is the only color option available. Godin Custom humbuckers are accompanied by one volume, one tone, one synth volume, three-way mini-switch, momentary switch (also a mini-switch) and a five-position blade pickup selector to create an unprecedented palette of sonic options for the most diverse palette of players out there.
