Tobacco Sunburst
The story of S-500 began back in 1982 when Leo Fender revisited the classic bolt-on double-cut concept. Over thirty years later, S-500 is still among the most prominent G&L guitars, being the definitive S-style axe out there. Currently, there are three active models, two in Fullerton range and one in Tribute series. USA S-500 RMC belongs to the Made in Fullerton range, major features including a solid & double-cut body (swamp ash with premier color options, alder with regular ones), G&L electronics, 25-1/2" scale, and G&L hardware. Tobacco Sunburst is the only displayed color option. Other notable features include a hard rock maple neck, 22-fret maple/Caribbean rosewood fingerboard, Leo Fender-designed G&L tremolo bridge, and sealed tuning machines.
