Tribute ASAT Special model comes from the ASAT Special series and is the series intermediate option. Body of this solid single-cut axe is flat on top and made of either swamp ash, or alder. Swamp ash is used for the transparent finishes, while the alder is used for the solid ones. Top of the body is decorated only with a standard Tele pickguard. Hardware is plated in nickel on this special ASAT six-stringer. Standard set of six in-line Schaller tuners is plated in nickel, as is the hardtail bridge on the opposite end of the 25-1/2" scale. G&L pickups come in S/S configuration. Pickups are over-sized and overwound. Maple neck is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard. Both maple and rosewood options are abvailable.

good for blues and Classic rock and roll. clear and clean sound, but it also has a heavy punchy bottom.
