Slash is among the players who brought the Les Paul back on the big stage in the 1980s and 1990s. His unbelievable ability to mix and dance on a thin edge between metal, hard rock, punk and blues made him an icon of the period. Slash is also one of the first associations whenever someone mentions Les Paul. He used a special LP to record the legendary Appetite For Destruction album and Gibson now introduces a recreation of that original guitar. This one comes with a solid body made of mahogany and flamed maple. Creme binding and gloss finish wrap the body. Standard tune-o-matic bridge/stoptail bar bridge unit is fronted by Slash signature Duncans. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
