SGS3 2015 is the only SG series representative in the Limited Edition seven-piece line made for the winter 2014/15. It is a super elegant, black-clad SG with an extended pickups combo and gold-plated hardware as the contrast. SGS3 easily qualifies as one of top five most elegant and stylish SG models ever made. Solid and double-cut body is fit with the legendary "devil`s horns" cutaway, beveled edges and set in neck joint. It is only available in Ebony with nitrocellulose lacquer finish. On the top, the jaw-dropping three-piece pickups combo made up of Gibson USA `57 Classics with alnico 2 magnets is matched with an equally striking bridge unit. The standard tune-o-matic bridge is paired with a vintage-styled Sideways Tremolo tailpiece, easily the most peculiar piece of hardware ever seen on a stock SG. `57 Classics in the front feature gold-plated covers and a customized controls unit (three volume knobs, one tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch). Mahogany neck with slim taper profile is set in and features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Vintage-styled tuners with gold plating wrap up the specs of this drop dead gorgeous SG. The MSRP is set at $2,599.
