SG Special Faded is concentrated on delivering the maximum tone and performance. Thus, the stripped down specs list and lack of fancy decorations. This mighty SG comes with a solid, double-cut body made completely of mahogany. It`s flat on top and has beveled edges. Another hallmark of SG design are the slightly asymmetrical "devil`s horns", the characteristic double cutaway designed especially for the SG. Worn Brown and Worn Cherry are the only entries in the color palette. Both are finished in satin. Classic two-piece bridge section is plated in chrome and matched with a set of six vintage tuners. 490R in the neck and 498T in the bridge feature open-coil design. Neck is traditionally made of mahogany and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

This guitar has all the features a Gibson guitar should. It may not have any binding, or special inlays like a more expensive Gibson guitar, but it works like one. Highly recommended for beginners, and medium range players. The quality is equal to a Gibson, nothing else said. It came completely working, nothing unscrewed, messed up, just perfectly built. Though its like 600 to 1200 dollars, its still a good Gibson. Its reasonable, and a good guitar. A very good built guitar, made by Gibson, one of the finest guitar makers. I think its cheap, of superb quality, and it has very nice features. Recommended for anyone who wants a cheaper, but good Gibson SG.
